We have teamed up with a modern, sleek business centre in central Southampton that is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Working on-site in their newly furnished contemporary offices you will benefit from free parking and a progressive career path, rubbing shoulders with a CIMA-qualified Accountant!

The successful Accounts Administrator will be responsible for the general overseeing of the shared inbox, maintenance of the purchase ledger, and allocating sales ledger receipts.

This role would suit someone with a progressive nature, looking to kick-start their finance career with a methodical mindset.

Reporting to the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Processing invoices
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Overseeing the general accounts inbox
  • Managing petty cash
  • Processing staff expenses

 
What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role: Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accounts / Sales Ledger / Credit Control / Accounts Payable / Finance Administrator
  • A good ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience with Sage would be beneficial but not necessary
