Are you immediately available and seeking a part-time accounts role in central Southampton?
We are searching for an Accounts Payable Admin Officer to join a public sector organisation on a temporary, part-time basis. Each day will be varied as you support the Accounts Payable team to achieve company goals. You will work 20-30 hours per week across 5 days, on a temporary basis until May 2024.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for:

Supporting the Accounts Payable team with daily activity (around 25 people)
Assisting with weekly BACS payments
Scanning and filing documents
Reviewing applications from clients to ensure they are compliant with company requirements
General administrative tasks to support the team
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Managers on tasks across the department

What you will need:

To be immediately available
Experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Administrator / Admin Assistant / Office Administrator / Office Manager
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
To be a highly organised individual
Ability to effectively and efficiently follow processes

Possibly the most irritating recruiters to work with.They do not respect working hours, nor care if you are currently at work when they call you about a different job.The procedures they follow are somewhat insane. They will only send you details of job roles after talking to you over the phone where they pretty much read the job spec with the added flavour of it being "a really lovely company to work for". This combined with the lack of respect for your current job is frustrating.They also do not follow gdpr procedures correctly, after requesting that they remove me from the system, they then emailed me with more jobs. This (hopefully) got resolved once I cc'd a director into my emails

I contacted the Niche Partnership initially in respect of a vacancy they advertised. This wasn't the right role for me but we spoke regularly and they placed me in a temporary contract role which became permanent after 3 months. During the temporary role we had regular discussions and have remained in contact since. Some of my experiences with recruiters have felt like they are 'going through the motions' and will just send your spec's to every single position regardless of whether you are suitable or not.However, Matt a conversation with me about what would be suitable position for me. Once found Matt actually took the time to do some interview preparation with me, which was a lot more helpful than anticipated. Sure everyone can watch a Youtube video, but someone actually tell me where I was 'going wrong' and providing constructive feedback is a lot more helpful.What even better is the tray of Ferrero Rochers I got for being successful at the interview.
