Working closely with the partners, you will be a key member of this award-winning Southampton-based accountancy firm (which is why this newly created role has become available). Being one of the senior escalation points for the team of bookkeepers, you will play a pivotal role in also providing value add activities through process improvements, audits, a variety of project work, and will benefit from remote/flexible working hours and free on-site parking too.
 
This Accounts Senior role requires someone who has an Audit background and will have a broad range of responsibilities, from team management to reviewing processes and encouraging workflow efficiencies.

Reporting to a Partner, you will be responsible for:

• Provide recommendations externally and internally
• Mentor junior members
• Regularly support and review client portfolios
• Preparation of statutory/annual accounts
• Audit
• Project work

What you will need:

• Experience in one or more of the following roles: Accounts Senior / Semi Senior / Client Manager / Senior Client Manager / Accountant / Senior Accountant
• Qualified or Finalist ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Experience within an Accountancy Practice
