Located on the outskirts of Romsey, our organisation is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Directors and ensure accurate financial transactions and office management. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the business’s financial records, managing the HR system, organising team events, and supporting overall office management.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Sending invoices to new clients
- Efficiently managing payment follow-ups
- Overseeing business expenditure and reconciling expenses
- Handling payroll tasks
- Managing the Directors’ diaries
- Maintaining office supplies inventory
- Supporting the HR system operations
- Assisting in organising team events
What you will need:
- Prior experience in related positions such as Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper, Finance Admin, or Accountant
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with Xero is desirable but not essential
