Do you have a passion for finance and a desire to contribute to the success of a well-established travel and tourism business that offers hybrid working?

We have teamed up with a leading travel and tourism business based in the vibrant coastal city of Southampton. As a Corporate Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance department. You will be joining the business at an exciting time as it goes through massive changes with a variety of projects.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Accounting you will be responsible for:

• Review of balance sheet accounts including reconciliations
• Supporting in the preparation of the quarterly VAT returns
• Preparation of information required for audit alongside Head of Corporate Finance
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register and administration of assets
• Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts, including consolidations and the processing of any year-end statutory adjustments

What you will need:

• Experience within a similar role
• Part qualified or studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Good knowledge of accounting systems
• A progressive approach and desire to improve
• To be someone who shows initiative
• SAP knowledge would be useful
