A EMEA Financial Accounting Manager is wanted for an exciting project to build a team following the need for a Shared Service Development in Portsmouth. This unique opportunity presents itself with the ability to create a department from scratch, whilst developing internal controls for this multi-national organisation!  
 
Among the skill development on offer, you will receive a performance related bonus, private medical insurance, enhanced pension and hybrid working. This role is vital to establishing and shaping the finance function.
 
This role would suit an agile thinker, with experience in large corporate organisations and shared service environments.
 
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:
 
Drive an efficient and timely Financial Reporting close process for the commercial entities in EMEA
Accurate reporting and guidance around Revenue Recognition and sales & marketing incentives.
Ensure the financial reporting of the P&L and Balance Sheet are in alignment with US GAAP
Supporting the Regional Controller to participate in project discussions for the Global ERP Program, with focus on the Record-To-Report management process.
Leading a team of 3 direct professional staff, while having a dotted line to the in-market Finance Teams internationally
 
What you will need:
 
Finance qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Experience of working in the manufacturing / engineering sector
Experience of working in a blue chip / multi jurisdictional environment
Proven leadership skills
Shared service experience
