Are you an expert in financial reporting, looking to join a sucessful professional services company that offers hybrid working and a competitve day rate?
 
We’re proud to be working with a globally recognised brand in Chichester who are searching for a controls-focused Head of Financial Reporting to join them on a fixed-term contract basis.
 
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing a large regional team of accountants to deliver timely and accurate preparation of P&L, ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger journals
• Liaise with board level members to provide a high quality regional R2R service.
• Give direction on all elements of statutory reporting and able to challenge any areas of concern and suggest improvements.
• Ensure operations comply with global controls framework and to track against monthly KPIs
• Being able to refine and improve financial processes and execute across the business

 
What you will need:
 

• To be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Experience of managing a large team offshore and onshore
• Heavily controls focused
• Confidence to communicate across all levels of the business
• Experienced with having oversight on all statutory elements
• To be tenacious
• Experienced with reporting into board level
• To be happy to be hands on and get stuck in
• Knowledge of Cognoss and TM1 is desirable but not essential
