A manufacturing business on the outskirts of Bournemouth is in search of a hands-on, commercially experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance department. As the most senior person in finance in this office, you will be managing a team of 3, and taking lead on Capital Investment. This role would suit someone who is confident in managing a team and has experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
 
In this role you can expect to be hands on, with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ approach being necessary due to the heavy involvement in the day to day running of the finance department.
 
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will be responsible for:
 
Stakeholder management (non finance)
Creation of management accounts
Leading Capital Investment programme
Lead the annual budget process
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Leading monthly forecasting
Produce financial schedules
Manage year end process including statutory and tax reporting
 
What you will need:
 
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified is essential
Manufacturing industry experience
Advanced Excel knowledge
Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
Experience managing a team of qualified/studying accountants
Excellent attention to detail and meticulously organised
