One of the largest employers on the South Coast is looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This global business offers a collaborative and productive culture and great benefits (highly flexible working, hybrid working, generous pension contribution and more).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Statutory accounting for multiple UK entities
• Liaising with external auditors on other entities within the group
• The end-to-end process of statutory accounting including extracting, adjusting and producing a trial balance
• Finalisation of statutory accounts
• Ensuring local GAAP adjustments are reconciled
• Acting as a point of contact for statutory compliance queries

What you will need:

• Newly qualified or a finalist in ACCA or ACA
• Knowledge of UKGAAP / IRFS / FRS102
• Previous work in a practice environment would be beneficial
• Audit and statutory accounting experience
• Experience in a similar role – Financial Accountant / Technical Accountant / Statutory Accountant / Finance Manager / Finance Analyst
