Do you want to kickstart your career in finance and accounts within a great company offering flexible working and support?
We are looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to join an ambitious business based in Hedge End. You will be eager to build your career in finance and willing to learn and grow in the role. You will join the company on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
 
Reporting to the Account Manager you will be responsible for:

• Reconciling transactions – comparing activity to any documentation and assisting in resolving any discrepancies that are discovered
• Processing invoices
• Collating data and inputting into the finance system
• Processing weekly reports to provide necessary information
• Assisting with payroll for staff
• Investigating and processing invoice queries
• Contributing to the wider finance function

 
What you will need:

• Desire to work within accounting and finance
• Enthusiasm for learning and picking up new skills
• Studying towards / achievement of a professional qualification would be beneficial but not essential
• An eye for detail and spotting errors
• Great numerical skills
