The successful Management Accountant will be offered the forementioned perks, including, private healthcare, a competitive pension and true flexibility! This role would suit a Management Accountant with a ‘hands on’ approach, and someone who enjoys value-add reporting.
 
As the Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts as well as balance sheet ownership!
 

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: 

  • Carry out monthly variance analysis of revenue and expenses versus budget/forecast
  • monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly P&L and assist with P&L analysis and review
  • Perform monthly inter-company account reconciliations
  • Board pack preparation and presentation to board / third party clients
  • Responsible for weekly cashflow reporting
  • Producing quarterly VAT returns
  • Co-ordinate the weekly cashflow reporting
  • Support for intrastate and statutory reporting (GAAP and IFRS)
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required

What you will need: 

  • Experience working within a similar role – Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Financial Accountant / Statutory Accountant / Accountant
  • The qualification would be helpful, but this company care more about what the person can do, so  ACA /  ACCA / CIMA  and QBEs welcome!
  • Ability to prioritise your workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Good Excel skills
