A Business Analyst Senior is required on a permanent basis for tech focussed organisation on the outskirts of Southampton. This company has been genuinely established as a leader in their field, offering tailored and bespoke solutions in their industry. The successful Business Analyst will be offered onsite parking, flexible working hours and a generous benefits package. This role is newly created due to growth and would suit a Business Analyst who enjoys systems and value-add / insightful reporting. Working closely with the Head of Finance as well as Head of IT, the Business analyst will be for translating business needs into a functioning set of systems to in turn improve internal processes, analytics, value add MI data and overall business performance.

You main duties will include::

  • Deep dive into the current business capabilities, needs and technology gaps, identifying appropriate solutions to improve business performance
  • Leading the Business Systems Team to support and deliver the appropriate change programs and plans within the organisation
  • Support business decision-making through reporting and MI analysis across all business streams and areas
  • Lead implementation projects, system upgrades and producing meaning full analytics to support key decision making and recommendations
  • Manage multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Liaise with IT sub-contractors/ 3rd party outsourced services and the finance department, to develop strategies for the optimisation of business costs and reporting and IT platforms and systems
  • This role is strongly interlinked with business decision-making and MI reporting, so you will need to have a good understanding of reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Producing MI reports, analysing trends, highlighting opportunities, risks and developmental areas to better support the business stakeholders and management teams
  • Using modelling tools and analysis to identify business needs
  • Handling multiple systems to deliver business objectives. To identify technology to aid productivity and efficiency benefits through smarter ways of working – scheduling/PPM visits etc
  • Manage end to end the ERP system, data integration and subsequent MI and analytics
  • Manage the existing Systems and Training teams to support the needs of the various ICE business teams

What you will need:

  • Experience in job roles such as; Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst / Systems Accountant / Analyst / Financial Analyst / FP&A / Financial Planning & Analysis
  • An analytical mindset, with ability to understand business processes
  • Excellent communication and experience supporting business systems, applications or bespoke software skills
